Samsung Note 4, and why I may switch from Apple

The Samsung Note 4 should be pretty awesome.  I've read articles about how the Note 4 is Samsung's flagship, and how Samsung sales are down 24%, and how the note 4 just won't be enough to make users make the switch from the Apple iPhone.  Well I disagree.

Myself, I'm a computer programmer for a fortune 500 company that you know well.  I was one of the first to use a smart phone a decade ago, it was based on the Palm OS.  At the time the iPhone was not yet conceived.  Then V1 came out, then V2, but the data plans were crazy expensive.  Then the iPhone 3 came out, the plans were close in price, so I got it.  Skip the 3g, went to the 4, skip the 4s, and waited for the 5, skipped the 5c.  Now my contract is up.  I'm older, my eyes are worse, so   On top of that my car has hands free.  So I don't use my phone as much as I use it to surf the internet, check stock, weather, etc.  Naturally I've been eyeballing the 5.5" iPhone 6.

So in a nut shell, this is a make it or break year for both Apple and Samsung.

What I want in no particular order...

Display:
amoled display, it is low power consumption, has black blacks, 180 degree viewing, can be seen in broad daylight, and thus is the best that there is.  Guess what, Samsung manufacturers 90% of oled displays.  So Apple and Samsung get into lawsuits, stupid in my mind.

Camera:
No joke, most pictures taken today are by a smart phone.  I want a SLR camera in mine with image stabilization.

Quality:
The iPhone feels great, all of mine feel great from V3.  Samsung must deliver in this respect, because I've already had a POS hardware that feels flimsy, and I don't want to go back.

OS:
So I've always told people that I like ios because it just works, and it does.  At the time Android was buggy as hell.  Times have changed.  Android in my mind (which is all that matters (the consumer)), is very stable.  Plus I can totally customize the OS.  Dah, I'm a programmer, of course I want to change things out.

Memory:
It has to have at least 32gb, I like to take pictures and video's.

Battery:
I want to be able to USE the device for 8 hrs.

Processor:
I have a 6 hyperthreaded core processor at work (12 threads at once).  You can't give me enough power or speed.

Pie in the Sky:
Wow me.  I'd love to see 3d.  Rumor suggests that Apple may have something here.

Why I would pay:
Because it's the best.  It can do all of the things (or most) above.  Because I use my phone and have it on me every single day at all times.

You:
I want to hear from you, and your thoughts on this.  Personally I think that Samsung can pull it off, and Apple will suffer, if the quality is good enough.
